The work begins with time spent near water: noticing the pull of tides, the changing line of a horizon, and the way light breaks into fragments across a moving surface.
Her paintings combine fluid gestures, mineral washes, layered marks, and softened coastal palettes. Navy, turquoise, sea foam, and sand tones recur throughout the work, creating paintings that feel grounded, airy, and quietly atmospheric.
The studio process is intuitive but considered. Each piece is built through poured passages, hand-worked surfaces, veiled color, and moments of restraint, allowing the finished painting to hold both movement and space.
